Welcome to the Treasure Valley’s first pickleball-exclusive facility, designed and co-founded by pros Susannah Barr and Nick Petterson. We sought out to create the ultimate pickleball experience, without making compromises. At The Flying Pickle, we don’t believe in compromising any part of the pickleball playing experience. That’s why we considered every detail to create a pickleball player’s paradise.

Our climate controlled facility has premium features to create a consistent playing experience. We don’t deal with lines or the elements at TFP. We know pickleball is a social sport and have created space and amenities to make sure the fun doesn’t stop after the game is over. We welcome all skill levels to The Flying Pickle and can’t wait to see you at the club!

Susannah Barr started playing pickleball at the local YMCA in Boise, Idaho in 2018, with her then 10-year-old son and rapidly discovered a passion for the sport. She quickly rose to playing at the pro level and became certified as a pickleball coach. She splits time between playing pro eents, coaching pickleball, and The Flying Pickle. Susannah plays singles and doubles but prefers doubles. She is a student of the game and loves the strategy aspects that can be used to defeat stronger teams. She says i’s like figuring out the pieces to a puzzle. Ultimately, she values the friendships she has made through pickleball and the laughter she finds on the court.
